Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We had sashimi, teriyaki chicken, Wagyu nigiri. The sashimi was fresh and well presented. Teriyaki chicken was good too. The Wagyu nigiri was average. The beef was chewy. Everything else was great and you can self serve miso soup too"
"My 8 year old son loves this restaurant and is one of his top two restaurants. We usually order two Bento meals between the three of us so it's a reasonable meal out - cost wise. The sashimi is amazing! So well presented as well. My son's favourite is the teriyaki chicken. My husband loves the cold noodle soup that comes with most of the bentos! The food comes out really fast and is always so fresh! The little extras like the unlimited miso soup, toasted seasme seeds, and ice cream balls for dessert, add a nice touch. There are very limited seats so book or come early."
"It was $29 for the Salmon/Tuna Donburi box set and absolutely worth the value. Been here twice now and very happy both times with the quality and presentation of the food. The sashimi was very fresh - both on weekend and weekday. The free self-service miso soup was a nice touch. We even got complementary dessert which was a nice treat."
"[Deluxe Sashimi Donburi] I don't normally eat raw food and especially with the summer season I was reluctant try but I just got curious how the sashimi taste is like so I gave it a go. The sashimi was fresh and there was no fishy smell to it. The salmon was best in my personal opinion and I would say freshness is 4 out of 5. It doesn't show in the photo but you also get a small cup of miso soup. I'm happy to try another sashimi dish in the future. Rice came to 326g and sashimi came to 344g."
"Amazing variety of sashimi on the ocean treasure don! There were so many sashimi pieces, I couldn’t find the rice underneath! Great ratio of fish to rice (more fish than rice) and for a reasonable price. Will be back!!"
"I found that this restaurant has a special menu. Sashimi includes King Salmon, Tuna, Chutoro, Argentine red shrimp, squid, Japanese scallops, salmon seeds, bluefish, crab meat, fresh white fish of the day... and eel, tamagoyaki, etc., and then the set meal And fish bone miso soup (yes, there is really fish bone in the soup base) And dessert grilled bream ice cream Salmon lovers, please pay more attention to this restaurant!"
"The waiters are warm and welcoming, the food is lovely, the service is good, the food is fresh and delicious, and the price is cheaper than other restaurants."
"The best little spot. Our favourite spot for the freshest fish, best selection and best value for money on sashimi. We always get a deluxe set each - and it’s consistently great each time. Kind workers and free miso soup too. Not a single complaint."
